Title: FAT raccoon at St. John's Rehab last night

While walking quite near to the hospital
as well

all of a sudden
in the tree
a lady and I
saw a fat raccoon

he came down the tree
with the boldest of faces
and sort of rushed across our path

then
went right down into the garbage
can that was at the side of the path
came out for air
and dived down again

He took off across the lawn

but I avoided him

dont like getting too close
there are many there
and I think it possible the patients
might encourage them
Not sure

They are doing a lot of construction
at the present time
and dust and noise
a shame as it is right beside
a lovely Retreat House
