Title: Yellow Swallow tail?
Post by: Napper on May 25, 2009, 05:39:08 PM
I am assuming that this a yellow swallowtail of some sort?

I see there are different types but I can't tell, this one has a lot less blue on it than what I looked at one Net..

I had several in my yard yesterday.  The first I've seen this year.

I also saw my first one today. Brian, do you have lilacs in your backyard, or did something else attract them?

Hey!

Thanx for the I.D.

This one kept circling my empty feeder. It landed on it a few times.  It settled on the grass a little while later.
