Title: Great Egret pair

...on N side of hwy 407 at 6:30 a.m. today, between Markham Rd & McCowan Rd., cavorting around in a water-filled ditch.

That's right next to the Milne Conservation Area aka Milne Dam. I've seen Great Egrets there, maybe there's a nesting pair.
