hi
not sure if I am posting correctly, this is my first time .
first I am not sure if the tall bird is a heron and the other picture was snapped driving down the niagara parkway, not a great closeup but they looked stunning sitting in the tree like that. not sure what they are though.
thanks for the help

Good morning Kelly,
You are correct, the tall bird is a Great Blue Heron.
For the picture- giving the link to Flicker works well, however if you would like your photos to appear in the future then what you'll want to do is right-click on the photo you want included from Flicker and select "Copy image Location". Then paste the link into your message with "(http://"%20written%20at%20the%20beginning%20of%20the%20link%20and%20")" at the end, so it looks like this:

Finally, delete everything between ".jpg" and "[/img]" (so in this case delete the "?v=0")
The picture should then show up, like this:

Hope that helps rather then just confuses further!

Hi Kelly,
Both of the links you provided are for the same photo. Can you post the link to the bird sitting in the tree?

then again maybe not. lol

You still have the image tags together () You have to put the http:stuff between the img and the end img. ((http://http:stuff))

hehe..for what it's worth, the birds in the trees are Double-crested Cormorant.
-
Hope this works ...
