was it crowded down there
and did you have accomodations
overnight

have u been to Pelee Island

I so miss it
have not been in a few yrs

We also visited Pelee this Spring. Thanks for the great pics. They bring back wonderful memories. We also saw that warbler and the cukcoo. We must have been following each other!

The Prothonotary was a no show for us at both Pelee and Rondeau, heading back to Rondeau next week...maybe I will get lucky!

This spring was the first time I have seen a black billed cuckoo also... we actually caught a pair of them in an old apple tree um...making little cuckoos...........................and then they went about their business slurping up tent caterpillars! :-)
(this was at McGregor Point PP 2 wknds ago) I got some fairly close shots but the light was going so they need some processing.

Hi, yes it was pretty crowded but all birders so that was nice!!  We did stay 2 nights and we book our accommodation about 6 months in advance as it gets sold out pretty quick.
