Hi everyone.
Earlier tonight, a Red-tailed Hawk flew by my livingroom window with "something" in it's talons (sorry, didn't get a good enough look at what it was). A male RWBB was going completely crazy chasing and attacking the "crap" out of the hawk so I'm wondering if perhaps it was a baby RWBB in the hawk's talons? Anyhow, never a dull moment with birding.

I've seen the male RWBB's going after both Red-tailed Hawks and Great Blue Herons out here at Lake Aquitaine. Cripes!
Check out this thread from May 23rd and Kin Lau's photo of a RWBB riding on back of a Canada Goose. Also in his album, page 9: RWBB Attacks ... RWBB on and going after a Mute Swan!
Geez ... is there nothing too big for these guys?!
