Title: Cummer Avenue Yonge near Newtonbrook Church
Post by: egret on June 10, 2009, 12:09:59 PM
We saw 2 hawks circling
overhead this AM
near 12 noon

Neither of us had
binos, and could not tell
but they disappeared after awhile

Wondered if they might
have been Red Tail Hawks?

I often see a single / pair of Red-tailed hawks in this area, as far North as Steeles avenue and Yonge st.
They have been around since I moved up here 4 years ago.    No idea where they nest.  They love to eat the pigeons that flock around Yonge and Centre ave.
