Post by: angelicque on June 13, 2009, 09:16:01 PM
just got back from a day of birding at Riverwood Park (along the Culham Trail). we didn't see anything out of the ordinary (too late in the afternoon), other then a Eastern Wood Pewee. a first time for my husband and i! what an adorable little song :)

i highly suggest this spot for birding - it was a wonderful walk!

Hi Angelicque.

Riverwood Park is a wonderful place to visit.  Did you also visit Erindale Park?  Lots of birds and wildlife at both locations.  :D

we spent so much time at Riverwood, that we didn't make it to Erindale! we'll be going next week-end, for sure :)

i think my favorite spot was the bog past the bridge...so many green frogs! it was wonderful :)
