Today while I did briefly hear the Blue-Winged warbler where I'd reported it previously, it was much easier to hear and actually see in the open scrub around post 33. I had a couple of plain views as it perched in the trees. It was almost as easy to find as the Indigo Buntings that are common here.
Also noted were a Cuckoo, Red-Eyed vireos, Red-Breasted nuthatch, and a Black-Throated Green warbler, not seen, but heard calling loudly in the treetops of the forest south of post 31.
