Yesterday morning was a great day to be out birding, our host was fabulous and I learned a lot from him about some of the birds at Col Sam Smith Park.
it was the first time I had seen spotted Dunlin, they were interesting and very easy to miss

thank you egret :)
I guess with the migration over and the trees in full bloom, the smaller birds are much harder to see now.
happy birding

I was sooo sad to miss this walk first because it was in an area I am not so great at sighting birds and second because the walk's host is an amazingly gracious and informative teacher where ever you might be lucky enough to meet up with him (ie: Hawk Hill in High Park).
So glad it was an enjoyable day. Thank you for sharing!
