Title: Western Reef-Heron in southern Maine
Post by: josullivan on August 24, 2006, 05:26:37 PM
There has been a Western Reef-Heron present in the Kittery area of south Maine since August 18th, likely the same bird that was present in Cape Breton recently. Kittery is about a 9-hour drive from Toronto. There are also Roseate Terns being seen here. I would be interested in hearing from anybody willing to chase this mega-rarity this weekend, leaving very early Saturday.
