Title: Friday at Lake Aquitaine
Post by: Bird Brain on July 24, 2009, 11:50:05 PM
Hi everyone.

Today at Lake Aquitaine, sighted a Juvenile Spotted Sandpiper.  Cute little bird.  Saw him/her in the morning and again in the early evening.

Also saw approx. 500+ Starlings flying around, landing in trees then flying up to rooftop of adult condominium at South East end of lake.

Other birds today:  a very ragged looking Mockingbird, male Goldfinch, lots of Robins, Mallards, Canada Geese, more bald male Red-winged Blackbirds, etc.

Also saw 2 Cottontail Rabbits.
