Title: Grand River Birds
Post by: backyard birdin on July 26, 2009, 07:23:01 PM
I have been doing a lot of fishing this year and that is always good for birding as well. My last 2 trips out have been the best bird wise.  I've had ospreys flying down over me. I saw countless blue herons, 1 green heron, a lot of kingfisher, merlins, redtails, humminbirds, a lot of small shore birds i'm not to sure about and my fav of all a bald eagle which i spotted on a rock in the water and then flew into the trees for a few pics.
