Title: GBH on Don River striking its model poses
Post by: mr.sharp-photo on August 19, 2009, 09:17:34 PM
Its funny....i saw nothing today other than the great blue heron and one cardinal. i didn't even see a robin.
this heron is either used to me or unphased by people. doesn't seem to get startled when i take pictures. i was in the open and around 60 feet away from it. it kind of seemed interested in fishing but really just spent its time hanging out, looking around and preening.

it is really strange. he seems to be completely unfazed by me, and i was clearly visible and about 60 feet away. i got up and sat down a bunch of times and he didn't care.
