First time at the Mill Pond in Milton (Martin St.) and a GBH flew in and landed in a tree at north end. Neat.
Many robins and chickadees about also.
On the way home to Brampton on Steeles another GBH flew over, our lucky day.
Btw, lots of goldfinches on our niger feeder at this hour - 5:45pm.

There seem to be more of them around since they started building new housing here in Milton.
The developers are using drainage ponds to control storm water.. In less than a year a Drainage pond will be surrounded by tall reeds
and attract frogs, swallow and Herons
