Started off at my birdfeeder this morning, happy to report I have a male and female Ruby Throated hummingbird no pics yet but they have come 3 days in a row now, also this morning a wild Parakeet showed up with the normal gang of House Sparrows I did get pics of this wonderful looking bird....cheers

so many goldfinches this year. its amazing.
and they've seemed to have kicked the red-winged blackbirds out of the Brickworks.
great captures. they are beautiful but a pain in the butt to shoot (move so quickly)

the wild Parakeet is beautiful! great pictures.

thanks Yogi and Misty....Hey Yogi I found a nice spot in the Brickworks where Ruby Throated Hummingbirds hang out, West side between the 2nd and 3rd pond on the path where the huge Drain Pipe is dumping rain water, right in front of that there are some orang coned shaped flowers the hummers are going nuts over them...I am going to try again later this week to see if I can get one in flight, one brave female buzzed so close I could not even take a pic cause I had the telephoto on!

dang...was there today at 4:30. we used to always walk that path (walked it yesterday). will look again.
had my fill of hummingbirds in Costa Rica but am still waiting to see one in toronto.
