Title: Tiny Part two
Post by: Napper on September 10, 2009, 06:35:20 PM
Hey folks

We spent the long weekend up in Tiny again.

Wed till Monday... Saturday was probably the most interesting day, around 5:00 pm a large number  of Gulls

and a single Nighthawk were circling/feeding just above the trees over our place.

Other sightings  throughout the weekend included White and Red breasted Nuthatches, Chickadee's, Hairy Woodpecker at the feeder and  a Ruby Throat

Hummingbird at our Cali-lilly's (not sure of that spelling).

Flying south We spotted a very large group of Cormorants and  later on many Geese doing the same. We generally don't have many Grackles around but on

Sunday a group of about 50 landed in our tree and then proceeded to fly South along the beach.

Napper:)  p.s the weather was fantastic
