Any help in identifying this bird would be appreciated: http://www.flickr.com/photos/40798812@N03/3913288981/ (http://www.flickr.com/photos/40798812@N03/3913288981/)

Well, it's down to two and I can't be sure about either. That it is a warbler I have no doubt. Yellow-rumped is a common warbler that has many of those characteristics. I can't quite tell about the wing as it it disappearing in the picture. Do you recall if the primaries had a bluish complexion? The other possibility is Palm warbler. I'll leave it for the experts to determine.

I don't recall any bluish colour on the bird. I certainly see the similarities when I look up the two birds you suggest. I'll wait and see if anyone else has an opinion. Thank you for your help - much appreciated.

I haven't checked my guides, but Palm warbler was the 1st thing to come to mind.
