I am really falling in love with shore birds. .
Mostly due to photos like these.

Misty, thanks - this was the first time I was able to get somewhat close to one as the ones I've seen up at the Reesor Rd. pond were quite skittish.
Meghan - thank you. Much like you, I started a little love affair with these birds after seeing them up at the Reesor Rd. pond. It's fun trying to capture their images between all the bobbing and weaving they're doing down the shoreline. Sometimes they'd wade in too far and lose their balance, causing them to spread their wings as if they were about to fly.
Here's a link to my shorebird album - Shorebirds (http://s460.photobucket.com/albums/qq326/WingsofFuryPhotography/Shorebirds/)

the second picture that you just posted is stunning :D
I like how it's so clear you can litterally count the wing feathers.
Great post!

Thanks Crystal, glad you enjoyed it. I've started to pan more, it's really helping my shots lately.
