Managed to find a line of site into this hiding spot where this Northern Saw-whet Owl was hiding. Natural light only.

Paul, This shot is superb. The light on the face and in the eyes is so magical. I love it!!!
Does this mean the owls are starting to appear again?

Yes they are starting to appear, NSWO banding has started Prince Edward Point.

I have not met Terry before, he use to send a weekly birding update to the B-Mail site but is not doing this anymore as far as I know due to his many commitments.
