Many of us have enjoyed watched the beaver family at Humber Bay park [and hypocritics that we are have cursed them sometimes for eating the park's trees] but this week I've twice seen something new to me out there... a black mink on the paths and near the shore. It's bigger than a weasel and all black/brown. And it moves fast!

Last Feb . when walking on the Spit I saw a big brown mink and got a picture as it did not run away and hide.
