Title: Hawk Cliff Oct 10
Post by: Moira on October 10, 2009, 07:47:00 PM
Today I went to Hawk Cliff for the first time.  I have posted a few pics elsewhere.  I saw many Turkey Vultures, 1 Bald Eagle, 2 Peregrine Falcons, Red Tail Hawk, several American Kestrels, many Sharp-Shins and more Blue Jays than I have every seen.  There were several warblers present as well - black throated blue, tennessee, parula, many yellow rumps, and nashville, as well as ruby crowned kinglet, blue-headed vireo, and yellow-bellied sapsucker.

Many thanks to the birders at Hawk Cliff, who were very helpful in sharing what they were seeing.
