Title: Backyard cardinal chowing down
Post by: mr.sharp-photo on October 11, 2009, 01:46:30 PM
is this a female cardinal or a juvie? not sure.

it was eating the seeds that fell from my feeder. i'll post some more pictures later (ones that actually show it eating).

The colour of the beak suggests it's a juvenile - adult cardinals have a more orange beak.
