Title: Thanksgiving at Presquile
Post by: Mark D on October 14, 2009, 04:27:13 PM
I spent a great long weekend at Presquile, and saw the following, among others:

Sharp shinned hawks
Red tailed hawk
Turkey vultures
Peregrine falcon (a first for me!)
Black bellied plovers
Semipalmated plovers
Least sandpiper
Pectoral sandpiper (also a first)
Dunlins
Pied billed grebe
Wood ducks
Common mergansers
Yellow rumped and Nashville warblers
loads of ruby and golden crowned kinglets
Blue headed vireo
Ruffed Grouse
I also had a great look at two white tailed deer.

What a great visit.  I wasn't so lucky on my visit a few weeks ago.
