Title: 2 birds from the Brickworks..should be easy

sorry to post these. i think they may be really easy. assuming the first is a european starling (female) and the 2nd is a type of warbler. (green throated?)t
can you kindly confirm?

The first is indeed a Starling in winter plumage.

The second is a Goldfinch moulting into winter plumage.  The plumage is a bit cryptic, but the bill gives it away.
