Title: Murder of Crows in Waterloo then "The Birds" in Mi
Post by: Bird Brain on November 02, 2009, 06:47:32 PM
Hi everyone.

Around 4pm in Waterloo, close to Waterloo Park ... steady rain and approximately 50 large Crows walking around in the wet grass and having a "field day" (no pun intended :D) pecking at the grass.

Back in Mississauga around 5pm on Winston Churchill Blvd., just South of the 401 ... approximately 300 pigeons!!!  They were all sitting on the hydro wires and facing West.  Within the whole bunch, there was one beautiful white pigeon.  It seriously appeared if one tried walking below them on the sidewalk, it might be a case of "The Birds".

Have actually been seeing a lot of pigeons around lately, especially on Erin Mills Pkwy. and along Britannia Rd.  Numerous flocks of Canada Geese flying by also.
