Title: Muskrat
Post by: Iain on November 04, 2009, 06:55:22 PM
Nice pics Irene,

The first is Muskrat.  Very small beady eyes close to a small nose.  Beavers' noses are larger and their coats typically darker.  Otters have flatter faces and darker coats.

it has been years since i have seen a fox! definitely a rare commodity around here.
somethings are just worth sharing with friends :)

as for the muskrat, yeah he was big...but we were on a hill looking down so it was difficult to determine size.
