Title: Sunday Morning Marie Curtis Park
Post by: ravynne40 on November 08, 2009, 02:22:18 PM
this morning held a few surprises for me, there was a  juvenile Black Crowned Night Heron basking in the sun in a tree, (do they not fly south for the winter?)
a Downy woodpecker and lots of chickadees, cardinals and i did see what i thought was a junco (he flew off too fast for a picture)

nice pictures Irene!
I think they fly south for the winter, but I have been noticing some birds that usually migrate still around as well.
