Trumpeter, actually - the all black bill and tag help with the id here in Ontario. ;)

I appreciate the clarification. It'll be nice to know how to spot the difference from now on.

Meg ... did you happen to see the number on the yellow wing tag?

btw- great photo!  I love seeing the water droplets splashing by the tip of the swan's bill.
