Found this guy quite easily today due to all the wonderful people who live in this neighbourhood.
Someone almost always knows where he is. As soon as I stepped out of my vehicle 2 residents pointed me in the right direction.
Thanks to the family at #20 Ascot Cr who openly welcomed me into their backyard.
All of these people basically have opened their homes to strangers who wish to enjoy viewing this very rare visitor. So a very special Thank You to all of you.

Good for you to get a shot of this rare not often seen species. I have considered taking a drive down from Kingston but don't want to get lost. . The berries its eating are almost the same colours as its eyes, beautiful. There favorite food is "mistletoe berries" but do eat other berry types and insects.

I often forget to thank and comment on all the photogs and the fabulous works they post. I appreciate all of them for being what are the results of patience in birding that I may not use. I have to add my 2 cents on your pics M. esp. the ones where he's eating. Sitting at work here and a few colleagues looked at me inquisitevly when I let out an Oh! on seeing the berry shots. Very, very, special. Thnks for sharing.
