Title: Robin at Lake Aquitaine
Post by: Bird Brain on November 25, 2009, 05:59:06 PM
Hi everyone.

This morning between 8-9am, went for a walk around Lake Aquitiane.  A lone Robin was singing up a storm.

Also sighted:

Blue Jays
Canada Geese
Cardinals
Chickadees
Crows
Gulls
Mallards
Red-breasted Nuthatches
White-breasted Nuthatches
Sparrows

A park employee found an owl pellet awhile back close to where I've seen the Screech Owl but apparently it's a fairly large pellet.  3 separate people today told me they've sighted a Great Horned Owl at the lake recently so I'm keeping my eyes open!  Didn't see the GHO or the pellet (full of little bones) today.
