here,s a male common merganzer,from the ganny,in port hope,and a nice red-tail,on a wire,just outside brighton. oh,and a GBH,from amherst island a while back.

great picture of the common merganzer; I saw a group of six of them today at fifty point marina but they were too far out for my lense. The gbh from amherst island is beautiful; I love how they are completely oblivious to everything when they are fishing :D

Very nice Denis.  I especially like #1 - great clarity and a favourite duck of mine.

this merganzer was only about 50 ft out. the closest i,ve seen.the herons are very interesting to watch.i,ve got several photos of him,capturing,and eating fish.
denis
