thanks, even though the smaller birds were rather elusive, i found it rewarding with a few of the regular residents of the park too

I have seen a hawk everyday this week on my way to work along the Lakeshore just over the Etobicoke Creek at Marie Curtis Park around 7:30 am.

thanks denis,  i'm surprised he's still around, about two weeks ago at night we also saw a GBH hunting for fish but i couldn't get a shot of him and didn't dare use a flash, so i just watched him for a bit

will see this weekend what's fluttering about :)

Great shots Irene,
I've read that both GBH and KingFishers will stay the Winter if their fishing location still has food and it does not totally freeze over.
Some GBH/falling snow shots would be awesome!!
