Title: Hamilton Hawks
Post by: Misty01 on December 02, 2009, 06:23:10 PM
Hey everyone,

This morning was a very productive morning for raptors.
I saw about 4 Red Tails, 1 coopers and 3 Kestrals.
Found that most of the raptors didn't "wake up" and come out till around 930am.
Here are some pictures from today  :D

I need to get out during the day - this working for a living is killing me   :)
You sure are seeing a lot of hawks - lucky you!

thanks for the nice comments, I was really happy to see my first "winter" cooper's.
I'm def. a raptor fan and I think I've found a "hotspot" for them about 5 min from my house :D
Night shift is great for birding; it's def. a big adjustment to your lifestyle though.
