first, i apologize for the quality of 2 of these photos.
just wondering if you can help me identify these birds.

and i assume this is a pin-tailed duck. but male or female?

hi yogi
1- female bufflehead
2-female long tail(old sqaw)
3-male long-tail(tail,s underwater)
at least that,s how i see it

Thank you Denis. On a side note, I miss the birding in Port Perry. Also miss the apple fritters at White Feather Farms  :D
