Title: Lynde Marsh Blue Heron on the ice

Seen him a lot lately off the causeway.  Even when it started to freeze he was still walking around on the ice finding open holes to fish out of.

Love these shots!!
I just love these birds in any pose or enviroment, but on the ice? Just a great new perspective.

Hey thanks Meghan.  I was fortunate to get quite a few shots of different GBH's this year.  I made it a goal to get some pics of them catching fish and i got a few.  I really just got into birding this year but i must say it was probably the GBH that i saw this past spring starting to build a nest that got me really into it.
