Title: bad snowy owl,and harrier male
Post by: denis on December 20, 2009, 11:09:39 AM
i,ve gone up to keswick 3 times now,and havent been lucky enough, like other posters to see these owls, next to the road.i,ve only seen them as specks, way out in the fields.shot at 700mm focal lenght, not including the 1.6x crop factor.hardly worth trying a photo.the snowy is an 80% crop.the harriers(male & female),are usually there, but are very quick, and tough to photograph.i apologize for the poor quality, and missing head shots,of the photos.

i find by beeing my worst critique, pushes me harder to get better pictures.if it was easy,we probably, wouldn,t be doing it.
