Title: American kestrel, Leslie Spit

not much to see at the Spit today, but I did see a Kestrel on my way out of the park.

these are 2 of the pictures. no time to look at the rest. if there are better ones, i will post them later. thanks

That's a long walk when there's nothing much to see!  Is the van still running the main road?  I like the pics, with his puffy chest.

oh,and the colour,s great! i like how you captured a catch light in the eyes.

today was one of those days where i was happy just to walk. nice and pretty when you go near the bird tagging station.

apparently there's a great horned owl and, possibly, a saw-whet owl at the Spit
