Title: Chickadee impostor and a few from the weekend

My son was feeding the chickadees at Halls road and this guy snuck in there

The birds are very friendly at Halls Road!  Even the Blue Jay will feed out of your hand.

I'd love to get our WBN to hand feed here...  he'll come close but not that close...   :)

This WBN takes a sunflower seed from between your fingers and sticks it in the bark of the tree and comes back for another.  Then he goes back to the seeds he has stuck in the bark and breaks them open.  Interesting little bird.
