Title: Maplewood Park
Post by: Bird Brain on December 29, 2009, 03:55:11 PM
Hi everyone.  This afternoon, went for a walk at Maplewood Park and saw the following birds:

Blue Jay x 1

Cardinals x 2 (1m, 1f) - they always make an appearance when I'm feeding shelled peanuts to the squirrels.

Crows - lots, including one walking around and stomping inside a large nest.

Chickadees - lots.

Downy Woodpecker (f) x 1.

House Finches x 6 (4m, 2f).

House Sparrows x 100's! ... can hear them long before you see them!

White-breasted Nuthatches x 4.
