Went for a drive east towards Whitby and in the fields was this beautiful male coyote. He was hunting constantly. Took photos from the car for a few minutes then left him to his hunting.

Great pics Ann. The one where he is staring at you is really good. Nice and sharp and i love the snow as well. I saw one a week back at Westney and 7 he was hunting as well. I didn't have my camera in highspeed mode and was quickly taking shots and wouldn't he jump like three feet in the air to pounce on a rodent and my camera pauses to save the previous shots. I could have cried as i missed the money shot.

I know what you mean Skyviewer. This male was jumping constantly at voles or mice. I wish I had a tripod so the shots would be sharper but it was really just nice to see him. He looks very healthy and a good coat on him.
