Title: Coots at Sam Smith Park
Post by: Brian Bailey on January 03, 2010, 08:11:14 PM
I took a quick walk in Sam Smith Park this afternoon.  Passerines were no where to be found but most of the typical winter waterfowl were scattered around.  The only unusual things were that Goldeneyes seemed to outnumber Buffleheads (that's rarely the case there) and there were 3 American Coots close to shore in the eastern-most bay.
