beautiful pics!
i especially like the desert cardinal.the exposure is dead on,with the head positioned perfectly, showing a great catch light in the eyes.the prickly perch,is a bonus, and compliments the bird,s colours.

Thanks to everyone for your encouragement.
I added 21 birds to my life list, but I already had some western birds like the Ferruginous Hawk, Prairie Falcon, Say's Phoebe, Brewers Blackbird on previous trips out west. I listed everything here http://outdoorontario.net/birds/phpBB/v ... 5453#15453 (http://outdoorontario.net/birds/phpBB/viewtopic.php?p=15453#15453)
