Title: mallard hybrid?

there were 2 of these at port credit yesterday.beautiful ducks,and quite bigger than a common mallard.

Looks like one of the ducks I have seen at High Park, they were hybrids mallard/muscovy
i was told they can't fly either

Hi Denis,

This is called a "Bibbed" Mallard, it's a very common hybrid duck.  Nice photo.

There is one of those that has been kicking around Uxbridge for a few years.  THey sure are neat looking.

bass pond,or mill pond? i go there often,and walk the trails behind walmart.lots of turkeys in your area.

It moves all over.  I've seen it often on Mill Pond and the pond by the hospital.  In the winter it stays in the different creeks, wherever there's open water.
