took the dog through the bush along the grand river today in Glen Morris with my binoculars and wasn't disapointed. I spotted 5 different bald eagles all in the same area. The first adult soared over the river for a good couple minutes right in front of me and then took off up river. Then 2 more adults followed up river while a 1st year bird decided to head down river. I had excellent views of all the birds. On my way back i was really close to another adult in a tree but didn't even notice till it took off. I'm bringing my camera tomorrow.

There is 15-20 Bald Eagles that winter along the Grand River from Brantford to Waterloo. Expect to see more and more as this birds numbers explode.
