I remember watching that in early January I think :roll:

It Was quite the site to see oh so many Monarch's in one place in Mexico.. You will ! enjoy this show.

Thanks for the heads up on the documentary . I found it to be very interesting and informative! A few decades back I was privileged to see a pre migration gathering of monarchs in a large elm tree in a field across from where I lived . It was spectacular - the butterflies covered the entire tree - a sight to remember !.

You're welcome Jim. I taped it but still haven't seen it (later today hopefully). I live near Bayview and Steeles and three years ago there was a monarch roost just a few blocks from here. I got there a couple of times before they left but the light was always bad so my pictures are nothing special but it was really cool to see it in 'real life', I agree, it's definitely something I'll never forget.
