I first spotted the bird 6-8 days ago while driving, stopped but couldn't find it - it had flown. Saw it again Thursday and today (Mon. Jan 25) when I got a good look and a positive ID.
Travel north from Tottenham on Simcoe Cty Road 10 to the stoplight at the Beeton-Loretto Road [8th Line]. Go west about 150-200 metres start looking on the telephone wire on the south side of the road. That's where I've seen it all three times, right in the middle of the wire and quite unafraid. Good luck!

The shrike is still there. I did not see it for a week after filling the first report but have seen it again twice this week, both times in the afternoon [3:30-4:00], still sitting on the wires, south side of the road, 250-300 meters west of the intersection
