Here are some of the Owls we saw on Wednesday at Amherst Island

The Snowy-was a little far but still a first for me (sorry for the blurr)

Thanks everyone for the great comments, next time when ever I go i'm taking a tripod, and need to take my time taking the pictures, too many came out real fuzzy, i'm so used to shooting the little quick birds and was afraid the owls were going to "flitter away" and this wasn't the case, but excitement and the "OMG" get it before it takes off feelings set in so some pictures didn't turn out real good. A small lense was definitely needed for the NSW, and I didn't have that either(left it in the car-go figure!)

Great shots Irene.
And good spotting.
If anyone ever needs to find a needle in a haystack, or an Owl in the forest, take Irene with you.
My shots of the NSWO were not worth trying to salvage. I did manage some OK shots of the Barred and Boreal.
This has to be the Fattest Barred Owl I have seen, and I've seen a lot this year.
