Cooper's Hawk Jan.31.10 7:30 am. I believe this to be the resident Cooper's Hawk of Marie Curtis Park

this is a coopers right? not a sharp shinned?

Nice shots Irene. Its always hard to differentiate Coopers from Sharpies, but the rounded tail appearance created by the shorter outer tail feathers (best seen in your first image) makes me think this is a Coopers.
