Title: Wood Duck - Wabukayne - Jan. 31, 2010

We saw our first male Wood duck , thanks to info posted by Jo-anne - THANK YOU ! He's gorgeous. He guards his paramour agressively. We have some great shots of him fending off other male mallards.  Have to learn how to post the picture! Soon hopefully.  Sue

 Hi Sue.  You're welcome.  :D  I'm so excited and happy that you got to see him!  Thank You for creating this thread and posting the information as to his current location.  I almost walked down to Lake Wabukayne this afternoon but once around Lake Aquitaine was enough - after that, it was time for a hot chocolate.  :lol:
